Without You 03:59
So many years have led to this Your precious ways Your gentle kiss I’d rather fall than go through all of this I’ll wait a while, I’ll miss your smile I’ll pace the halls, I’ll walk a mile I’ll miss your hand and try to understand Without you there’s an empty page Without you it’s an empty age What will I be, without you? Without you, there’s an open door Without you, there’s an empty shore What can life be, without you? I wonder what will I do now I’ll feel okay but always down I hold my breath, I clutch my chest and cry Without you there’s an empty chair Without you I’ll just sit and stare Who will I be without you? Without you there’s a wounded love Without you there’s a wounded dove How can life be without you? I’ll do my best without you I’ll be alright, I’ll try I’ll find my way without you I will try...... Without you there’s an empty chair Without you I’ll just sit and stare Who will I be without you? Without you there’s a wounded love Without you there’s a wounded dove How can life be without you? © 2022 Keith Walsh

The tireless American rose. Graced our fallen, Pricked our foes. A graveside decoration, saluted by soldiers, a comfort to widows, the perfume of angels, to any discerning nose. A queen’s bouquet, a honeymoon kiss, where petal strewn walkways, grace romantic getaways. Glistening with a bride’s tears, or a lucky graduate’s surprise, maybe a new mother’s gift, and those wreaths explode with beauty, when loved ones die. The tireless American rose, seen at parades, there after war. awarding every hero There at the gala, a holiday corsage, To win every battle, every precious heart. With, or without thorns, Through raging pain, On altars and bedsides In hospitals where loved ones lay In the ICU or ER, where dying breaths remember, This rose will not forget Her blooms express their beauty When loved ones cry. Rising through the soil of our lives Pushing through the earth as it climbs Beauty never had a better face Than the tireless rose and her Grace Beauty never had a better face Than the tireless rose and her Grace. Bad Name 02:54
I grumble in the backstreets I wrestle with the skeets I’ve put so many miles on these tired old feet Things were said and done That there’s no man could change At the end of the day when the light turns to grey It all stays the same What can you say about a bad name That takes from the sorrow, subtracts from the shame If it happened to you you might feel the same What can you say about a bad name? I shuffle down the alley A place where no one goes I wrestle with my feelings I’ve got a lot of those If I was less than human It might be justified I’m only flesh and marrow No place that I can hide What can you say about a bad name That helps with the sorrow, subtracts from the shame If it happened to you you might feel the same What can you say about a bad name? So many people want to make it ‘bout themselves So many people want to put you on the shelf Oh no. No. What can you say about a bad name That helps with the sorrow, subtracts from the shame If it happened to you you might feel the same What can you say about a bad name? © 2022 Keith Walsh

That's All 02:20
I don’t want to blame you I just want to tame you I’m a man who’s found his season I wanna spend it with you I will write a letter I won’t need a shredder I’ll express myself better than Mr. Magoo I don’t want to be that guy who runs away and makes you cry I don’t want to know that guy at all I just want to be the one That gets a blessing from above I just want to share my love, that’s all. I’ll throw off these fetters I’ll be a real go getter I’ll wake up every morning with a powerful grin If you’ll be my lover I won’t need another C’mon baby get me cause I’m ready to win! I don’t want to be that guy who runs away and makes you cry I don’t want to know that guy at all I just want to be the one That gets a blessing from above I just want to share my love, that’s all. That’s all, that’s all, that’s all. © 2022 Keith Walsh

about

brick bosso Los Angeles, California

I've been playing music on keyboards ever since I got turned on to Ragtime music as a kid, thanks to the chart topping single "The Entertainer," by Scott Joplin. I find creating music addictive -- I use virtual and hardware synths, drum machines, production tools and sometimes guitar. Though for truly stellar guitar work I turn to Mark Abbruzzese and Eric Endo. ... more
