Electronic artist Darwin does a remix of the dark song "Sz Blues" from Brick Bosso's 'Bianca.' The stripped down mix saves Eric Endo's classic blues style riffing for a solo near the end.
When asked about his choice of tunes, Darwin said: "When Keith asked me if I was into remixing one of his tunes I took a very quick listen to all the tracks. The one that stood out to me was 'Sz Blues'. I wanted to work on something that gave me an immediate reaction so I could tap into whatever that was later when I was remixing."
Of his approach to remixing, Darwin tells us: "My approach was to follow the inspiration that led me to choose this tune. I don't like to put much thought to it. Just listen and react. My tendency is to strip things down to what I believe is the essential roots of the tune and go from there. It was no different with this one. I just stripped it down and then tried to listen to it and make decisions that served the song."
