Roberto Montoya of Icons Of Industry goes bonkers with a raucous mix of the tune "Thief Of Reputation" from the album "Bianca" by Brick Bosso. As Roberto explains, he used leftover fragments of violin performances from James Jones and Peter Voronov from a recording of "The Wheels Will Turn," by Icons Of industry. "Its the bits that were on the cutting room floor that didn't make it into my track," he says.
Of the mix, Montoya says: "I wanted to bring a bit more drama and tension into the song by removing instruments and then unfolding them, along with new ones, as the song progressed. I also wanted to give it a heavier vibe so I replaced the original beat with some distorted Butch Vig drum samples.”
